POLITICAL OFFICES IN NIGERIA HAVE BECOME A ROYAL OFFICE
The sentence above sounds funny, right? But it is the reality. Have we ever noticed that the way we have been ruled in Nigeria Is just like the royal family, a person would leave a position, he will put his colleague or one of his family on the post, and gradually by gradually, it is becoming like a royal inheritance?
If we can observe, every member that is holding a position in any political office in Nigeria has at least one of his family or close friend that is holding another post.
And also, why must a person who had stayed on a post for 4years intend to go for more posts? To me, It's abnormal and it is a sign of greediness and selfishness.
Because if we painstakingly examine this, almost those who are contesting for this presidential ambition had stayed in a political office before if not for two terms.
Some people would have served a political office and intend to serve another.
Why is it that they are circulating the political positions among themselves as if it is property?
A person who had ruled governorship for good 8 years that's two terms, why must he have to go for another post?
Why can't we bring a person from a nonentity family and elect such a person into the office?
And keep repeating this so that it won't be like a royal family whereby the positions will only be assigned to some people.
Because I looked at it very well and I saw that those people who are our leaders or trying to contest for one post or the other had held a political office before. Why can't we choose a person from an unknown family and put such a person on the post and keep on repeating that??
Because the Nigerian political affairs are just like the Royal families in Korean movies.
